RETURN POLICY
Terrapod® Vehicle Roof Tents
Orders for Terrapod® vehicle roof tents can be cancelled at any point before being shipped or picked up. Refunds will be issued within 10 business days by company check, minus a $50 cancellation fee.
Roof tents that have shipped or picked up are returnable within 30 days of delivery date provided they have not been unpacked or otherwise used, mounted, or damaged. Your return must be in unused and new condition. Upon inspection and acceptance by Terrapod, we will issue the refund.
A RMA issued by Terrapod is required to process a return. Contact Terrapod to receive an RMA prior to shipping it back or dropping it off. Tents returned are subject to a $50 return/restocking fee, and shipping charges are not refundable. Tents returned to Terrapod are shipped at the buyer’s expense and may require the services of a freight company. A trackable shipping option must be used to ensure that your tent is received by Terrapod and we are able to process a refund.
Mounting Systems
Orders for tent mounting systems can be cancelled at any point before being shipped or picked up. Refunds will be issued within 10 business days by company check, minus a $25 cancellation fee.
Mounting systems that have shipped or picked up are returnable within 30 days of delivery date provided they have not been unpacked or otherwise used, mounted, or damaged. Your return must be in unused and new condition. Upon inspection and acceptance by Terrapod, we will issue the refund.

Orders for accessories and other purchased items can be cancelled at any point before being shipped or picked up, provided it is not a custom order product. Refunds will be issued within 10 business days by company check, minus a $10 cancellation fee.
Accessories that have shipped or picked up are returnable within 30 days of delivery date provided they have not been used or damaged. Your return must be in unused and new condition. Upon inspection and acceptance by Terrapod,we will issue the refund.

SHIPPING
Terrapod® Vehicle Roof Tents
Due to the size, packaging, and cost of delivering vehicle roof tents, all are shipped via commercial freight services. Buyers can take delivery at either residential or commercial locations; however, adequate plans should be made for the offloading and subsequent handling of the tent following delivery. For certain delivery locations, the size of the delivery vehicle and accessibility constraints may require curbside delivery or street drop-off. It is recommended that two people are available for handling and unpacking a tent.
Terrapod will contact buyers and assess the suitability of delivery options to the best of our ability prior to shipping. Unique constraints may require additional charges related to specific delivery locations. Once the shipment process is initiated with the carrier, Terrapod will not be able to cancel the order and may not be able to change delivery instructions or schedules. An adult over the age of 18 years must be present to receive your tent upon delivery by the freight carrier. Buyers are responsible for any additional charges that occur due to redelivery or undeliverability.
Shipping tents to locations other than in the lower U.S. 48 states will require additional consideration and cost. Shipping to PO Boxes as well as APO and FPO addresses is not available. Please contact Terrapod regarding any orders that require special shipping or delivery location considerations.
Mounting Systems, Accessories and Other Items
Mounting systems, accessories and other items are shipped from the Terrapod facility or may be drop shipped from a supplier. Terrapod and our suppliers use several carriers to provide the best shipping options. Once the shipment process is initiated with the carrier, Terrapod will not be able to cancel the order and may not be able to change delivery instructions or schedules.
Shipping mounting systems and accessories to locations other than in the lower U.S. 48 states will require additional consideration and cost. Shipping to PO Boxes as well as APO and FPO addresses is not available. Please contact Terrapod regarding any orders that require special shipping or delivery location considerations.
Damaged Items
Terrapod must be informed of any damaged items within 10 business days of delivery. If packaging appears visibly damaged upon receipt, you must contact Terrapod prior to opening your package. If your item appears damaged upon opening your package, do not use, install, or return damaged items until you have contacted Terrapod.
PRODUCT PICKUP
Buyers may pick up their tents and mounting systems, accessories, etc., at the Terrapod facility located in Gainesville, GA. If you choose to pickup your order, your purchase will constitute a retail taxable purchase under Georgia Sales Tax regulations. As such, we are required to collect sales tax, irrespective of whether you will be taking it out-of-state.
Buyers picking up orders at the Terrapod facility will not be charged shipping delivery fees. Once products leave the Terrapod facility, the buyer is responsible for damages to packaged and unpackaged products.
Please Note - Our facility is oriented toward product manufacturing, and we have neither a showroom nor facilities for on-site fabrication related to specialized / custom vehicle installation of your tent. Terrapod® and Terrapod personnel cannot perform any type of custom fabrication installation work and will not be responsible for any installation work performed by you. Please make certain your vehicle is prepared and ready to receive your tent per Terrapod® recommended mounting methods.
